What the detailed check covers
It can recognise a clean e‑visa fit and common regular-visa cases. It refuses to invent certainty where a visa-free agreement, special passport or unusual purpose may change the result.

Citizenship
The current official e‑visa portal lists 64 eligible citizenships. That list is checked directly, not inferred from geography or Schengen membership.

Main purpose
Tourism, business meetings, guest visits and certain cultural, scientific, economic and sporting purposes can fit the unified e‑visa. Employment and study require their own regular categories.

Stay
The unified e‑visa currently permits a stay of no more than 30 days, within its 120-day validity period. A longer trip moves out of this route.

Entries
The unified e‑visa is single-entry. If the itinerary leaves Russia and returns—even for a short side trip—you need a route that supports another entry.

Exact calendar
Entry and exit are counted inclusively. The checker also calculates the current e‑visa filing window, from 86 to 4 days before intended entry.

Residence and application post
Residence does not transfer citizenship rights, but it can determine whether a regular application may be filed at a particular post.

Transport and checkpoint
An e‑visa works only at approved checkpoints. The calculator flags the check; the official list confirms the exact airport, port, rail or road crossing.

Adults and children
Every eligible child needs a separate e‑visa application. Group size also matters for future service pricing, although no unconfirmed total is displayed.
A route check is not border clearance.
The checker cannot see your full immigration history, passport condition, sanctions exposure, minor-child circumstances or a consulate’s local submission practice.
Use it to rule out unsuitable options. Confirm the final route with current official instructions and the authority responsible for the application.
Common questions
Does the checker decide whether I will receive a visa?
No. It identifies a likely document route from a small set of trip facts. Russian authorities decide visa issuance and entry, and the responsible consulate can request additional documents.
Why does the checker send some passports to manual review?
Some citizens may have visa-free access or passport-specific bilateral rules. A simplistic “not e-visa, therefore invitation” result would be misleading, so the checker pauses where a current agreement should be confirmed.
Does my residence country determine e-visa eligibility?
Eligibility is based primarily on citizenship and the travel document used, not simply where you live. Your place of residence can still affect where and how a regular visa application is accepted.
